What is a Fat Monkey?

A photographer from the beginning…

Life through a camera lens has always intrigued me but until the last few years I’ve just begun to give it some real thought and practice.

I am the proud mother of the most beautiful BlakeLady on earth.  She and her older ‘brother’ Oscar aka ‘FatMonkey’ are the gravitational pull that keep me grounded (and sometimes CRAZY).

I enjoy my full time job, as it allows my photography to become a wonderful escape into another realm of beautiful light, artistic angles, and pure joy for not only myself but for those around who may want to stick around and admire.

With each day I strive to find a new challenge, perspective, and path… One that I hope to continue to navigate through the viewfinder of my Canon; shortly followed by the “snap-snap-snap” of the shutter and that overwhelming feeling of wonderful when I find that I’ve captured something more than my imagination could conjure.
